Melinda takes pride in the quality of products produced and wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Each jewellery creation is hand-crafted using precious natural materials, and it is often difficult to match colour, shape and size to exactly what is displayed, so please allow for some variation in these characteristics. All pieces are made strong enough to be wearable and if treated appropriately will last for a very long time. Please read the care instructions on how to look after your jewellery.

The candles are meant to be burnt as a holistic treatment to gain the most benefits and due to the natural nature of essential oils there is a use-by date, so we recommend burning them within 6 months of purchase.

All items are displayed and described as accurately as possible. All measurements are approximate. Please be aware that colours and images may vary slightly according to your browser, software or monitor.

RETURNS

Melinda take every return seriously and to heart as she personally strives to satisfy every customer with the best possible products, presentation & service!

Most customers appreciate the nature of this personalised service and we are sure you will be delighted with your order!  If for some valid reason you are not and would like to return an item, we are happy to offer an exchange for returned goods provided by the following terms:

• You have 10 days, from the receipt of goods, in which you can cancel your order and return items.
• You MUST cancel your order in writing (email only) and return items within the time frames given, so please send an enquiry requesting an exchange and the reason why.
• All returns MUST be unworn/un-used, in perfect condition and in it's original undamaged presentation packaging with proof of purchase.

Please note the exemptions and exceptions below to the standard returns procedure and 10 day cancellation period, where the following items are regretTably non-returnable:

• Earrings for hygiene reasons, we are unable to exchange unless they are faulty.
• All candles are made especially for you upon ordering, therefore due to the nature of essential oils short life-span, these items are considered like fresh flowers. Unfortunately, returns can not be accepted unless an order has not yet been prepared or in the unlikely event your candle arrives to you damaged or broken.
• Commissed jewellery or personalised gifts which has been especially designed and made to order.
• All SALE items

Damaged items:

• Due to the delicacte nature of most handcrafted items, Melinda Mulcahy will not be reponsible for repairing items that were not treated gently within the first 10 days after purchase. Please ensure you refer to the "Care Instructions" upon receiving your jewellery.
• If you have purchased one of Melinda's creations which has broken, we offer a service to fix your jewellery at a small charge.  However, due to the nature of natural materials, with particular reference to earrings are extremely difficult to match!

Exchanges will be delivered to you within 28 days of receipt of the returned goods, conditional upon stock availability. The costs of return postage will be at your expense.

• Please include with the returned goods, your full contact details, a note stating the reason for return and specify any exchange you wish to make to replace the returned item.
• It is vital you obtain proof of postage.
• Exchanges will be made to you within 28 days of receipt of the returned goods, as long as you have followed all of the procedures and timeframes above.

 PRIVACY POLICY

Melinda is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that is collected about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) for the purpose of delivery of orders and if agreed, to send bi-monthly newsletters.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

• your name
• address
• phone number
• email address
• credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
